The University of Kentucky’s Police Department sent out a crime bulletin to the UK student body regarding an incident of sexual assault that occurred on campus.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Sept. 28 in the student’s residence hall room, according to the bulletin that was sent out on Oct. 2.
The bulletin said the suspect is known to the victim.
According to the UK Crime Log, the offense the bulletin mentioned was first-degree rape.
This is the third assault reported through a crime bulletin this semester at UK.
