Outside of Patterson Hall and Boyd Hall, a UK student was robbed on Tuesday, Sept. 3, around 7 p.m. according to WKYT.
Two suspects, identified as Corey Reyes, 22 and Jahiem Mullins, 23 were arrested and charged.
The UKPD Crime Log said the pair were charged with “ROBBERY, 1ST DEGREE (2 COUNTS) — CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ROBBERY (2 COUNTS).”
Reyes approached a student claiming he was pranking people for his YouTube channel, according to WKYT. During this interaction, Mullins approached the student from behind, threatened them with a gun and told the student to not “‘make (him) use it.'”
“Police say the gun was loaded and had a round in the chamber,” WKYT said.
The situation was “cleared by arrest.”
The name of the student that was robbed is unknown at this time.
