UK Basketball hauled in two top ten recruits from the 2015 recruiting class on Thursday when the nations No. 7 overall prospect center Skal Labissiere and the No. 9 overall prospect guard Isaiah Briscoe chose the Cats over some of the best college basketball programs in the country.

Briscoe, a Roselle Catholic High School product, is the nation’s top point guard. He chose UK over St. John’s and Connecticut on ESPU’s Recruiting Nation. According to 247Sports’ Jerry Meyer, the 6-foot-3 Briscoe “is the consummate grown man three-position perimeter player … He plays a punishing style of basketball with a controlled pace while still having an explosive athletic burst.”

Labissiere, a Lausanna Collegiate School product who is a long, lean and athletic big man will bring his 6-foot-10 frame and shot blocking ability to a UK team that has had a rotating roster of shot blockers. Labissiere chose UK over Memphis, Baylor, Georgetown, Tennessee and North Carolina.
