UK hoops signs Top 10 recruiting class

UK Hoops head coach Matthew Mitchell will welcome a trio of talented players next season after signing a class ranked in the Top 10 nationally by three outlets.
The class is ranked No. 5 by the All-Star Girls Report, No. 8 by Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and No. 10 by Blue Star Basketball. The class of 2013 is UK’s fourth consecutive recruiting class ranked in the top 15 and the highest since signing the No. 5 class in 2009.
The class includes Makayla Epps (No. 10 ranked point guard by ESPN), Kyvin Goodin-Rogers (No. 72 ranked overall player by ESPN) and Linnae Harper (No. 2 guard and No. 5 player overall by ESPN).
Harper, a 5-8 guard from Chicago and a former teammate of current Wildcat Janee Thompson at Whitney Young High School is the highest ranked recruit in program history.
The early signing period ends Nov. 21.
