Little robbery pre-trial moves forward, bond remains same

Judge Bruce Bell found probable cause in the Crystal Little case in a hearing at Fayette County District Court Wednesday morning.

Lucas Roberts, assigned to defend Little by the state, sought to have Little’s cash bond amount lowered, arguing that she has a solid family and friend structure to rely on if released. After hearing from both sides, Bell kept the bond amount at $30,000 full-cash.

A Lexington police detective testified that Little was armed at two of the four robberies, but that a weapon was never shown.

Little, a UK employee and former projects editor at the Kentucky Kernel, was arrested on charges of robbing four Lexington-area banks on July 28.
