January 4, 2012
Darius Miller reached 1,000 career points in UK’s win over Arkansas-Little Rock Tuesday.
Miller was five away from the achievement heading into the game. He scored 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting to put his career total at 1,010 points.
“It’s an honor to be a part of something like this, especially in a program like this,” Miller said. “I’m excited about it.”
Miller eclipsed the mark with a 3-pointer early in the second half.
He is now No. 56 on UK’s all-time scoring list, behind Ron Mercer (1,013 points) and ahead of Jimmy Dan Connor (1,009 points).
