Despite positive reviews for their “Risky Business” performance on Wednesday, the acoUstiKats will not move on to the next round of NBC’s “The Sing-Off.”

The a cappella group performed Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock And Roll” and also competed in an Ultimate Sing-Off against the group, VoicePlay, singing “Eye of the Tiger.”

For the first time ever on the show, there were three ultimate sing-offs where two groups went home. The judges chose both VoicePlay and the acoUstiKats to go home, saving The Filharmonic.

After the show ended on Wednesday, the group thanked its fans on Twitter.

“It was our pleasure, and we don’t regret a thing! Thank you to everyone, especially the #BBN. You have NOT seen the last of us,” according to the group’s Twitter account, @acoUstiKats.

The theme of Wednesday’s episode was top hits from movies. The acoUstiKats’ wore navy blue jackets and red pants, and some sported white boxers and sunglasses like that of Tom Cruise’s character in the movie “Risky Business.”

“It was entertaining,” said judge Ben Folds of the “Risky Business” performance. “I thought that the transitions were good — they were well executed.”

Though judge Ben Folds said he would have liked to see more “rock and roll,” overall, the group “sold the performance.”

“It was rockin’ and rollin’,” said judge Shawn Stockman. He said it was great with “lots of energy.”

On Wednesday, the show began with all six of the groups performing “Time of My Life” from the movie, “Dirty Dancing.”

NBC’s “The Sing-Off” features a cappella groups from around the country that perform numbers without backup bands. Judges for the show are Jewel, Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds of Ben Folds Five. The groups compete for a recording contract and $100,000.

In last Thursday’s third round, the acoUstiKats advanced after singing “Amazed” by Lonestar. The episode also featured a proposal from bass singer Mike Owens to his girlfriend, Maggie Blair.

The previous episodes featured the acoUstiKats performing “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke and “Hey Ya!” by Outkast.
