Star lineup for Red, White and Boom
January 22, 2016
This year’s 12th annual Red, White and Boom celebration at Whitaker Bank Ball Park will give country fans an opportunity of a lifetime.
After the success of expanding the 2014 celebration into two days, the event is expected to make even bigger changes from years past including expanding to a full three-day event.
With over 15,000 attendees in the past few years, the event is exceeding expectations by booking notably larger artists and allowing fans the chance to purchase general admission and VIP passes.
Along with these changes, the dates have been pushed back to Labor Day weekend to accommodate the artists’ schedules, according to senior vice president of iHeartMedia and Entertainment in Kentucky Michael Jordan and The Herald-Leader.
Hosted by WBUL 98.1 “The Bull,” the three-day event will be unlike the past few years.
The festivities will include a handful of prestigious, award-winning pop country artists. Rupp Arena veterans Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line are just a few of the artists to make an appearance at the celebration.
Additionally, Grammy-award winning Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, and Cole Swindell are on the lineup. More performers are to be announced.
Red, White and Boom will take place on Sept. 2-4 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
General Admission will be $179 and VIP tickets will be $358, plus service fees. Tickets are now available through the Lexington Legends website, or by calling Whitaker Bank Ballpark Box Office.
