With each passing day, the 2016-17 Kentucky basketball season draws that much closer. 

While the new season doesn’t officially begin until November, head coach John Calipari wanted to get head start on preparation by having the Cats over at his house for the first team meeting of the year.

According to the program’s official Twitter account, Calipari talked about the challenges of playing at Kentucky and how they must compete in everything they do at UK. Calipari also reportedly talked about the team being a “brotherhood” despite battling each other in practice.

Only five more months and several team meetings to go.
