A construction worker died earlier today after an accident occurred at the UK Student Center construction site on Avenue of Champions.

The victim was employed by Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal of Lexington.

No information has been released in regards to how the accident occurred. UK Police Chief Joe Monroe will be available for questions at 3 p.m. today. More information will follow as the story progresses.
