Freshmen De’Aaron Fox and Bam Adebayo were involved in a car accident around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred on Nicholasville Road and was responsible for sending one person, not Adebayo or Fox, to the hospital.

The accident and the two player’s involvement was confirmed through UK and reported first by LEX18. The two players were on the way back to campus for a meeting, but it was confirmed that neither was driving. Because of that and because no injuries were sustained by either player, Fox and Adebayo left in another ride so that they would not be late for the meeting.
