UK Campus Housing embraced the spirit of the approaching winter weather by hosting Woodland Wonderland on Jan. 11 and 12. 

An ice rink, a tent, food and gifts were all a part of this housing event available to students in the Woodland Glen Courtyard.

This is one of many events UK Campus Housing has put on this academic year, including Bluegrass Bash back in September. UK Campus Housing puts an effort into creating a strong sense of community among UK students through events in and out of the dorms, said Michael Danahy, assistant director of marketing and communications for UK Housing. 

“Campus Housing feels strongly that events such as these build a great sense of community for our students both in and outside of the residence halls,” Danahy said.

 Danahy said as 35 staff members worked the event.
