To those in need of transportation during spring break, all aboard the Ride Home Express. 

Tickets for the UK Transportation Services’ Ride Home Express for spring break are on sale as of noon on Thursday, Feb. 1.

For spring break, only the Chicago-are route will be visited, which has five stops: Louisville; Indianapolis; Lafeyette, Indiana; Merrillville, Indiana; and Naperville, Illinois. 

Tickets range from $55 to $155 for round-trip rides, while one-way tickets begin at $30. 

The service will depart from UK on Friday, March 9, and return on Sunday, March 18. 

UK students and employees are eligible for the service and can register and pay with their linkblue IDs through the Customer Account Manager. BCTC students can also ride the Ride Home Express.

Tickets can also be purchased in person at the main Transportation Office in the Press Avenue Garage. One-way tickets must be purchased in person.
