University of Kentucky law students who are members of OUTLaw hosted their annual drag show at The Bar Complex. OUTLaw is a student organization open to allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together to discuss LGBTQ+ issues in the law. The annual drag show has been held since OUTLaw’s founding in 2003. Every performer was a law student and member of OUTLaw. Organizers hope to continue to bring joy to the law students and members of OUTLaw every year.
“I hope that everyone feels pride. They feel proud of the event, they feel proud of themselves, we’re celebrating ourselves, the performers are celebrating themselves, we’re celebrating the people performing,” Savannah Molyneaux, director of community outreach, said.
