The University of Kentucky Police Department released a crime bulletin email on Feb. 24 detailing an on-campus sexual assault.
According to the crime bulletin, the assault, reported on Feb. 22, occurred inside the suspect’s room in a residence hall on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The bulletin said the two suspects are known to the victim.
This is the sixth crime bulletin regarding a sexual assault this school year.
“The UK Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and the appropriate campus units are working with individuals involved to provide resources and support,” UKPD said.
The brief mentions resources available for students including the SAFECATS website or their phone number 859-257-7233 and Wildcab vouchers.
