UK takes another from the University of Louisville as Marion County senior Kyvin Goodin-Rogers changed her commitment from Louisville to UK, according to a Lexington Herald-Leader report.

Goodin-Rogers, the 6-foot-1 daughter of Tick Rogers, who played for Louisville in the mid-1990s and is a former Kentucky Mr. Basketball, said she liked that UK wasn’t all about basketball, but about academics as well.

She averaged 13.4 points and 9.1 rebounds last season as a junior, and according to Hoopgurlz’s site, she is No. 72 overall in the nation and the No. 19 overall forward.

The first commitment of the class, Goodin-Rogers, is a teammate of Makayla Epps, daughter of UK star Anthony Epps. Epps was also committed to Louisville, but she reopened her search in late July and is reportedly considering the Cats.
