Sophomore Zoe Hammond continued her dominant season during the match despite dropping the first set 6-2, winning the next two with scores of 6-2, 6-3 to put Kentucky ahead.
Ellie Eades then won a three-set match of her own, taking down her opponent 6-2, 6-2 while dropping just one 6-3. This put the Cats within one point of clinching the win.
