No. 6 Kentucky defeated the No. 11 Providence Friars in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 17, at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Wildcats advance to face No. 3 Kansas State in the second round of the tournament on Sunday, March 19, at 2:40 p.m. EST.
