Members of the UK football team and the UK Wildcat Marching Band pepped up a crowd of new students and parents moving into dorms.

Among the rush invading the Kirwan-Blanding complex Friday were football head coach Joker Phillips and UK President Dr. Eli Capilouto and his wife, Dr. Mary Lynne Capilouto, who helped unload cars and move mini-refrigerators.

At 9:30 a.m., the football team and marching band held a pep rally for the new students, and many players even picked up band members’ instruments.
