Two executive tickets announce candidacy for Student Government

Student Government candidates have started announcing their candidacy.

Drake Staples and Mary Ellen Wimberly announced their candidacies for president and vice president, respectively, on Thursday.

Staples, a finance and marketing junior, is currently the deputy chief of staff for Community Engagement. Mary Ellen Wimberly, a finance and economics junior, is the student representative on the faculty senate.

Stephen Bilas and Mary-Katherine Kington announced their candidacies for president and vice president, respectively.

Bilas, a business management and finance junior, currently serves as chief-of-staff, overseeing the executive branch. Kington is a finance junior and a student senator.

Bilas and Kington will have a live campaign announcement at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Student Center Small Ballroom, where students can ask questions. For more information about these candidates, visit www.bilaskington2012.com.
