Cats dominate conference awards
March 6, 2012
The SEC awards were stocked with Cats.
Anthony Davis won the SEC’s Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.
John Calipari won Coach of the Year, his first time winning.
Darius Miller won Sixth Man of the Year.
The only major award UK didn’t win was Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Florida’s Patric Young received that honor).
The Cats were also well represented on the All-SEC teams.
