Anderson to speak on cancer research: UK triple alumnus, Davis, replaced at E-Day

Mark Davis, renowned cancer researcher and triple UK alumnus will not speak at the College of Engineering’s E-Day speaker event on Friday as planned.
UK’s Kim Anderson will replace Davis and discuss the role of communication in her career, as well as the cancer research she has been a part of at UK, according to the E-Day website.
The annual E-Day event was scheduled in accompaniment with “Engineering Cares: Cancer Education Week.”
Anderson serves as director of the UK National Science Foundation Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program, UK National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program, and Undergraduate Studies in Chemical Engineering.
The lecture will follow its original schedule, starting at 11:30 a.m. in the Raymond Student Commons of the Ralph G. Anderson Building.
