Huber Heights Wayne (Ohio) High School inside linebacker Dorian Hendrix has committed to UK as the second commitment of the class of 2014, Justin Rowland of Rivals.com reports.

Hendrix is a 6-foot-2, 215 pound inside linebacker from Huber Heights, Ohio. Hendrix collected 124 tackles with a sack, fumble recovery and two forced fumbles during the 2012 season according to 24/7 Sports.

24/7 Sports and Scout.com rate Hendrix as a three-star recruit.

Hendrix is visiting UK on an unofficial visit and was in Lexington on February 9 for junior day where the Cats coaching staff offered him a scholarship, Rowland reports.

Hendrix’s offers have come from Indiana, Illinois and a host of MAC schools according to Rivals.

Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Wisconsin also expressed interest.

Hendrix joins Opp (Ala.) High School defensive end Denzel Ware as commitments for 2014.
