The Cats are coming off a 3-0 performance at the weather-shortened Coke Zero Classic. Sophomore catcher Griffin Joiner led the Cats at the plate, hitting .583 with two home runs and eight RBIs.

UK will play five games over three days at the event, starting with a doubleheader on Friday against Illinois and host South Florida.

The Cats will play two more games Saturday, squaring off against Loyola Marymount and Central Michigan.

Lastly, UK and Western Michigan will square off for the second time this season on Sunday to close out the tournament.
