Eighty percent of campus has power back after an outage this morning, but the Internet is still out, UK spokeswoman Kathy Johnson said around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Substation No. 2 went down and officials are investigating how it failed, she said.

Anything operating on UK servers is down, Johnson said. However, UK Alerts, which are housed on a different server, are still able to go out in case of an emergency.
