Senior left handed pitcher Jerad Grundy became the fourth Cat to be selected in the 2013 MLB Draft on Friday when he was taken by Okaland in the 10th round.

The Athletics used the 311rd overall pick to draft Grundy, who had been drafted each of the past three seasons but opted to return to school each time.

Grundy worked 83.1 innings for the Cats in 2013, earning a 6-6 record in 14 starts.

Earlier in the day junior right-handed pitcher Trevor Gott was drafted by the San Diego Padres, while junior left-handed pitcher Corey Littrell was taken by the Boston Red Sox.
