The SEC and UK released the Cats’ 18-game men’s basketball conference schedule, and UK is featured on national television 14 times during the conference season.

The Cats begin the SEC schedule against Mississippi State at Rupp Arena on Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. on the SEC Network.

Other featured games on the schedule include hosting Tennessee on Jan. 18 (Noon, CBS), traveling to Missouri on Feb. 1 for the first time since the Tigers joined the SEC (1 p.m, CBS), and finishing the regular season at Florida (Noon, CBS).

ESPN previously announced that the Cats were to play on the network as a part of their weekly “Super Tuesday” coverage five times over the season, more than any other team in the SEC.

UK is also scheduled to host ESPN’s College GameDay on Feb. 15 at 10 a.m., leading into the Cats’ 9 p.m. tip-off versus Florida on ESPN.

UK plays Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida, LSU and Arkansas twice.

All 18 conference games will be televised on either CBS or the ESPN family of networks.
