The University of Florida shot 58 percent and hit nine 3-pointers on its way to the 84-65 victory over UK in the O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla.

UK put together a 15-0 run early in the second half after being down as much as 22 points. Florida senior guard Scottie Wilbekin hit a 3-pointer to cut the run short, and Florida never trailed in the final 20 minutes.

UK freshman forward Julius Randle scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds in the loss. Florida senior forward Patric Young had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead the Gators in both statistics.
