Friday morning, a man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in beating to death Alex Johnson, a UK chef. 

Timothy Ballard pleaded guilty to kidnapping and tampering with evidence in the murder of Alex Johnson, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

Ballard testified against Johnson’s convicted killer Robert Markham Taylor in June.
