U.S. has top 5 universities in the world (for the first time ever)

For the first time, the U.S. is home to the top 5 universities in the world according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 Best Global Universities.
These universities include Harvard, MIT, Stanford, UC-Berkeley, and the California Institute of Technology.
As reported in the USA Today College article, academic research is a big factor in a school’s ranking on this list.
Other countries with strong universities include the United Kingdom, China, Germany and France.
