Millennials more interested in education than marriage

There’s no doubt that millennials are far different from their parents, but perhaps the biggest difference stems from their attitudes towards relationships.

An April report from the U.S. Census Bureau compared data between today’s Americans aged 18 to 34 and that same age group in 1975. Today, 8 in 10 people are married by age 45 but in 1975, they were married by age 30. 

55 percent of millennials believe marrying and having children isn’t that important – not nearly as important as education, money or accomplishments. Another finding showed that compared to 43 percent in 1975, only 14 percent of modern millennial women are homemakers today.
