For the second time this season, Kentucky offensive tackle George Asofo-Adjei has been recognized by the SEC, this time receiving Offensive Lineman of the Week.

The senior helped the Cats in their victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday as they became bowl eligible. Asafo-Adjei graded at 89 percent in the game with three knockdown blocks and 23 blocks at the point of attack as the Cats rushed for 280 yards.

Asafo-Adjei, a six-foot-five, 315-pounder, played every offensive snap without an assignment error, did not have a penalty and did not allow any sacks or quarterback pressures.

The last time the lineman was named with SEC honors was after the South Carolina game when he graded at 90 percent.

Kentucky returns to the field this Saturday at 4 p.m. on the road at Missouri. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
