UK men’s basketball coach John Calipari has a reputation for being one of the best recruiters of high school talent in the nation. The consistent trend continued for the Cats as 5-star wing player Keion Brooks committed to be a Wildcat starting next season.
He committed on a live stream on CBS Sports.
Brooks will line up with other Wildcat recruits Tyrese Maxey and Dontaie Allen, who was just named Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball.
247Sports ranks Brooks as the No. 23 overall recruit in the class, the No. 6 small forward and the No. 3 player out of Indiana.
The Cats are still pursuing Minnesota-based forward Matthew Hurt to round out their class.
