CARES First Generation hosted a kickoff event on Monday, Nov. 3 to celebrate first-generation week, held at the Cats Den in the Gatton Student Center. This event encouraged first-generation students to get involved with other services on campus and share their stories. They offered activities and food to start the celebration.
