A man was struck by a train early Friday morning, at the end of Burley Avenue.
Kyle Ginnever, a 22-year-old from Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:20 a.m., according to the Fayette County Coroner’s office.

Shots were fired on South Limestone early Friday morning, causing three to be taken to the hospital.
The gunfire occurred in the area near McDonalds, and involved a UK student, at around 3 a.m. this morning.
“Just before 3 a.m. our officers were called to 357 S. Limestone, which is right there in front of the McDonalds,” Lexington Police Spokesperson Sherelle Roberts said.
