Nashville rock band Diarrhea Planet will begin their fall tour at Cosmic Charlie’s on Thursday night with support from Shawnthony Calypso and Trashcat.

Diarrhea Planet’s fall tour will cover many Midwest and East Coast cities, as well as a few dates in Canada. The tour will conclude on Nov. 21 in Washington, D.C.

This is the first time Diarrhea Planet will play Lexington, though they have visited Kentucky to play Louisville twice and Newport once. The band’s six piece lineup features four guitarists, an uncommon number compared to most bands.

Diarrhea Planet began in 2010 and toured frequently following their 2011 release, “Loose Jewels.” Their latest release was 2014’s “Aliens in the Outfield.”

Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show begins at 10 p.m. Advance ticket pricing is $8 and entry at the door is $10.

The show is for ages 21 and up.
