A female student was sexually assaulted in a dorm on campus, UK police announced in a crime bulletin at 11:10 p.m. Thursday. The assault took place at about 11:45 a.m. that day, the bulletin read, and was reported to UKPD at about 4:15 p.m.

The crime is still under investigation by UK police. The alleged suspect was known by the victim, the bulletin read. UK Police asked students to contact them with any information related to the incident.
