DeNesha Stallworth named SEC Player of the Week

UK Hoops senior forward DeNesha Stallworth was named SEC Player of the Week on Monday.

This is her first Player of the Week honor in her career at UK.

Stallworth averaged 14.5 points and nine rebounds a game in wins over Bradley University and No. 3 University of Louisville this week.

She dominated in the second half against the Cardinals on Sunday, where she  scored 15 of her 16 points.

Overall, Stallworth leads  the Cats in scoring, averaging 14 points per game this season, accompanying 6.8 rebounds per game.

She has been in double figures in all but two of UK’s games this season.

Stallworth and UK Hoops will play Friday night as they take on No. 9 Baylor University in their second straight top-10 showdown.
