Three UK men’s basketball recruits made it official Thursday by signing their letters of intent, UK announced.

Dakari Johnson, Julius Randle and Dominique Hawkins added their names to head coach John Calipari’s consensus No. 1 recruiting class in the country.

Hawkins, Calipari’s most recent addition, is 2013 Kentucky Mr. Basketball after leading Madison Central High School to a State Championship.

Randle is the No. 2 senior in the country, per the final rankings on Rivals.com.

Johnson is ranked No. 9, and the best center in the 2013 class.

“The thing I like most about this group is its competitive will to win,” Calipari said. “These guys are All-Americans and award winners, but more importantly they’re world champions, national champions and state champions. They know what it takes to win.”

All members from the Class of 2013 who have announced their commitment to the Cats have now signed.

Calipari is still pursuing Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 player in the country. Wiggins has not announced when he will decide, but it must be before the signing period ends May 15.
