According to Jeff Goodman of CBS Sports, former UK men’s basketball head coach Tubby Smith has been fired by Minnesota.
The Gophers lost in the third round of the NCAA Tournament to Florida Sunday.
The 61-year-old Smith spent six seasons at the school, compiling a 1-3 record in NCAA Tournament games.
