UK’s game at Mississippi State has been moved to Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN, the school announced Tuesday.

The game will mark the Cats’ seventh Thursday night football game on the ESPN networks. UK is 2-4 in such games, last defeating Western Kentucky 14-3 Sept. 1, 2011 in Nashville to open the season in a game televised by ESPNU.

The game versus the Bulldogs will be the first Thursday night game on ESPN since Oct. 4, 2007 when the Cats lost to South Carolina 38-23 in Columbia.

UK will have 12 days to prepare for the game at Mississippi State, with their second and final bye week falling the week before the Cats travel to Starkville, Miss.
