No. 18 UK gymnastics (4-3, 2-2 SEC) takes on No. 6 Georgia (5-4, 3-0 SEC) at Memorial Coliseum on Friday.

This will be the fourth top 10 SEC opponent for the Cats.

UK is looking to bounce back after two consecutive losses to Alabama and LSU.

The Cats head into Friday’s meet ranked No. 15 nationally on balance beam, No. 17 on floor exercises and No. 24 on uneven bars.

Georgia heads to Lexington with a 73-0 all-time advantage over the Cats. The Bulldogs are coming off of a season-high score of 197.500 in their win against Alabama last weekend.

UK head coach Tim Garrison and Georgia head coach Danna Durante will share a reunion when their teams battle under the lights of Memorial Coliseum on Friday. Both used to be assistant coaches at the University of Nebraska.

The meet is Kids Day and a free gift will be given out for the first 250 kids eighth grade and younger.

It is also UK Alumni Association Night. Free admission will be given to UK alumni with their membership card, with the team signing autographs after the meet.
