UK, Georgetown and Syracuse are the final three schools being considered by Dakari Johnson, the five-star recruit told reporters Wednesday.

The 6-foot-11 center was previously a top ten recruit in the class of 2014, before reclassifying last month to become the best center available in the 2013 class.

Johnson has ties to UK having played at the same high school as former Cat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

Despite having the number one ranked class of 2013, there is currently a hole at center which would be immedietly filled should Johnson choose UK.

Freshman forward Nerlens Noel is expected to enter the 2013 NBA draft, with fellow freshman forward Willie Cauley-Stein also possibly spurning his sophomore season in favor of early entry.

In addition to Johnson, the Cats remain in the running for two other five-star recruits, forwards Andrew Wiggins and Julius Randle.

UK head coach John Calipari has so far received commitments from Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, James Young, Marcus Lee and Derek Willis to play for the Cats next season.
