UK men’s basketball team defeated LIU Brooklyn 104 -75 Friday night at Rupp Arena.

Five Cats scored double-digits, led by freshmen Alex Poythress and Archie Goodwin with 22 points each. Goodwin flirted with a triple-double, adding nine assists and nine rebounds.

The Cats trailed late in the first half, allowing the Blackbirds to score 43 by halftime.

The Cats settled in during the second half and coasted to victory.
