Willie Cauley-Stein is is a 7-foot, 244-pound freshman from Olathe, Kan. He was a multi-sport player in high school, and is just now transitioning to sole focus on one sport. Teammates and coaches have raved about Stein’s development over the summer.
Cauley-Stein spoke with the Kernel in early September playing multiple sports in high school, his early battles down low with Nerlens Noel and his expectations for the upcoming season.
