When the Emmy didn’t go to “Project Runway,” Heidi Klum tweeted: “It takes endurance to lose 8 times!”

But Klum made up for it, being named among the best dressed across the board on fashion and magazine websites.

Klum and Sofia Vergara from “Modern Family” were the standouts on the red carpet this year at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which aired Sunday night.

“Voila! I chose this sea-foam green dress with high slits for my red carpet debut last night,” Klum said Monday on Heidiklum.aol.com.

Alexandre Vauthier made Klum’s dress, and she wore Charlotte Olympia shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Vergara also went for a sea-inspired look.

Vergara’s gown was covered in emerald-green sequins. Her designer was Zuhair Murad and she wore Neil Lane diamonds.

Unfortunately, Vergara had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction 20 minutes before the “Modern Family” cast won its Emmy.

Her gluteus maximus popped her zipper open, and pictures of Vergara’s bare behind have been circulating the Internet. Luckily, she was a good sport about it and laughed it off. She was seen dancing and still having a grand time at the Emmy after-party.

Different shades of blue and green seemed to be the “it” colors on the red carpet.

Julianne Hough was stunning in a light teal sequin dress by Georges Hobeika. The bottom of her dress faded into teal fabric petals, making her look like a true mermaid.

Hayden Panettiere wore a metallic gold dress with a navy sheer fabric that wrapped around the length of the gown. The dress was by Marchesa and made her look like a Grecian god.

Nicole Kidman followed suit in sequins. Her Antonio Berardi white gown had a geometric pattern of blue sequins.

Brian Williams’ daughter and “Girls” actress Allison Williams followed the trend in her gorgeous green Oscar de la Renta frock.

Tina Fey stunned everyone in her low cut Vivienne Westwood dress. The plum color looked amazing and the detailed beading on top was the perfect touch. Her Fred Leighton jewelry gave her an elegant appeal.

Jessica Paré from “Mad Men” wore a Jason Wu gown. It was a simple white dress with a black belt, a fall fashion trend on and off the runway. She spiced up her look with a bright red lip color.

And, of course, I can’t leave out Jane Levy, “Suburgatory” actress, who wore a UK blue gown by Pamella Roland. Her gown had a structured bodice with cap sleeves. She accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and Neil Lane jewelry.
