Head coach John Calipari and his staff will go on a tour of the state with the national championship trophy later this week, he announced on Twitter Tuesday night.
The tour, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, will make its first stops in Ashland, Pikeville and Hazard on Thursday.
On Friday, the tour will travel to Frankfort, Elizabethtown, Owensboro and Paducah.
The tour concludes Saturday with the trophy only at Verizon stores in Lexington (Hamburg) and Louisville (Old Brownsboro Crossing).
