UK beat Vanderbilt 83-74, a victory that clinched the SEC regular-season title outright.

Anthony Davis turned in a performance worthy of Player of the Year, scoring a career-high 28 points with 11 rebounds. Facing a solid post defender in Festus Ezeli, Davis extended his game outside, driving from the top of the key for multiple layups and hitting a few jumpers.

Darius Miller again came through in the clutch, scoring all nine of his points in the final 10 minutes of the game. It mirrored his performance against Mississippi State on Tuesday, when he scored all of his points in the closing eight minutes.

UK trailed at the half by one point, largely because of seven turnovers and 0-for-8 shooting from behind the arc. Those marks improved in the second half, as the Cats committed two turnovers and hit both 3-point attempts in the final 20 minutes.
