Anthony Davis posters to be passed out at Wednesday’s scrimmage

UK has a “few hundred” remaining posters of Anthony Davis, coach John Calipari tweeted, and they will be “randomly distributed” at Wednesday’s 3 p.m. scrimmage to those in attendance.

The practice is open to students, faculty and staff.

According to Calipari’s website, “We will go through our normal practice routine for 30 to 40 minutes, break for a couple of things for you, and then we’ll scrimmage for two 10-minute halves. The first half both teams will play man to man and the second half both teams will go zone.

“We have several things planned for you, some of which are still in the works, but we’re hoping to have a 3-point contest where you will be shooting with the players, maybe a Q and A and some giveaways. We may have a few other things, but my staff is still working on those.”

  1. Anthony Davis has not received one dime from his poster. I see all kinds of UK Posters, cards, (football, baseball, etc.) for sale on E-Bay where UK and the student athletes do not recieve one dime from these resales. The NCAA be damned.

  2. Just another mistake in the Anthony Davis poster problem. The students are the ones selling them on Ebay. They are more than likely the the ones, that took posters from other fans seats. The posters should have been given to fans 12 years and under at UK’s next home game against Ole Miss.Go BIG BLUE !

My husband & I both graduated from UK. We haven’t lived in KY since 1979 (we have lived in Montana since 1983), but have followed UK basketball as much as possible on TV. I recently saw a fan at a game holding one of the Anthony Davis posters & immediately thought, “I want one of those, but I will have to find out where and how to get one.” Hope more will be printed. It is a great way to promote UK basketball and the best UK team and one of the best overall players on any team that I have seen in years! Go UK!!! (PS: How can I get one?)

  4. It would be nice if Anthony Davis could sign some and auction those off for some local Kentucky charities. GO BIG BLUE!!!!
