Miller named as candidate for Senior CLASS Award

Darius Miller has been named one of 30 candidates for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.

The award recognizes student-athletes who “have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition,” according to the award’s website.

Thirty candidates from both men’s basketball and women’s basketball are on the list. A winner will be announced on Final Four weekend.

Other men’s basketball candidates include Tyler Zeller (North Carolina), Erving Walker (Florida), Ronald Nored (Butler), Robbie Hummel (Purdue), Draymond Green (Michigan State), Ashton Gibbs (Pittsburgh) and William Buford (Ohio State).
